The strong graphic qualities of Barbara Milman's prints are enhanced by the techniques of relief printmaking. She uses linocuts and woodcuts as the basis for most of her work , whether it is prints, mixed media, or artist books. But traditional relief printmaking is only one aspect of her work. She combines her linocuts and woodcuts with digitally created images to create a truly contemporary form of printmaking.
